Peter Malone Elliott is a vastly experienced literary consultant with a deep passion for working with authors at any stage in their journey. Before founding Fortiter et Recte Literary, Peter was the Director of Operations for Book Pipeline, where he discovered and developed up-and-coming authors and launched them into the traditional publishing landscape. Through his meticulous editing and experienced industry knowhow, Peter has helped authors achieve literary representation, publishing contracts, and long-lasting careers of which they can be proud.

Published titles that Peter has worked on with his clients include Under Color of Law by Aaron Philip Clark (2021, Thomas & Mercer); A Fragile Woman by Ciara Duggan (2023, Phantom House Press); Unrelenting by Jessi Honard and Marie Parks (2022, Not a Pipe Publishing); Kill for Love by Laura Picklesimer (2023, Unnamed Press); How to Win the War on Truth by Samuel C. Spitale (2022, Quirk Books); and the forthcoming The Woman in the Waves by Camille Booker (2025, Hawkeye Books).

Literary agencies that Peter’s clients have secured representation with include Birch Literary, Carol Mann Agency, Carnicelli Literary Management, Howland Literary, Jean V. Naggar Literary, Talcott Notch Literary, The Rights Factory, and United Talent Agency (UTA).  

Additionally, Peter is a writer himself, which helps him relate to his clients on an even deeper level. His debut novel, Blue Ridge, was released to critical acclaim by Level Best Books in January 2024. Other notable writing achievements include a Leo Award nomination for "Best Screenwriting, Motion Picture" and winning the Grand Prize of the Script Pipeline Screenwriting Competition.
